Our Saturday morning started pretty early like somewhere around 4:30. We had a big day planned from showers to picking up pecans and even some grocery shopping. However, our plans changed quickly. We got a call about 4:30 saturday morning that the ambulance was on the way to get David, my brother- in law, I new it must be pretty bad beings that David never goes to the doctor. I began to pray that what ever the problem that God would see fit to work quick and work things out for David. Indeed that he did. I find it sort of humerous today that after all David had been through while laying on the bed waiting on the ambulance he was super worried that the ambulance would frighten Breanna. I told sherrie that Shane would come and get Breanna and we would put her to bed at our house. I heard David say I am just worried about Breanna, so in the middle of the David's heart attack his kids were is top priority. I had to tell Sherrie to remind David that Lexie loves staying with aunt Leigh and that I would take extremely good care of Breanna that we love both girls so much. I also told sherrie that Breanna and Kennleigh could pile up in my bed and then play when they woke up. David agrees that this is best. This is for you David.... We had a blast hugs that early in the morning from two very cute three year olds, both with little curly heads you just can't resist. I then got up with Breanna about 6:30 and we had a tea party, with Chocolate milk. Then Kennleigh and Breanna played with the little tikes ironing board and iron and ironed there clothes for the day. They did have so much fun.
So around 9 Maw maw come and got Breanna, and Tat come and got Blakeleigh and Kennleigh. They were a big help so that me and shane were able to go see about David and Sherrie in Montgomery. Since David was in CCU and we could only visit from 10:00 to 10:30 and 1:00 to 1:30 and then not again until 5:30 we decided that instead of Sherrie just sitting in the waiting room all day we would take her to get something to eat for lunch and then something to snack on since they would be there a while. Praise the Lord all is well with David and God has truly blessed with a speedy recovery.
Sunday we had such an exciting day it was fifth sunday which in the Baptist world we don't have the night service at church. SO I got Lexie from aunt Faye early Sunday morning and we headed to church. The kids were good during church all three of them. SO after church the kids and I decided to go to burger king and then to walmart. I know people probably thought I was crazy for taking three kids to town that are that close in age, but really we had no trouble at all. Blakeleigh was sleepy so Kennleigh sang Joy is mine going through walmart, might I add people just looked and smiled at the way she was putting her to sleep. It was pretty sweet, and it could have been worse if Kennleigh did not sing that meant I was going to have to. Actually we have done that a few times as well. THe older girls were extremly sweet and minded well. They rode the big buggy bus I like to call it with the Two seats attached on the back for toddlers. For being good I told them they could get a prize so they picked out cookie icing and sprinkles ( a big bottle of sprinkles each). I bout some stuff to make sugar cookies and we took a roller and let them roll out the dough then take their cookie cutter and cut butterfly shapes. I then placed the cookies in the oven and while they were cooking We painted Christmas ornaments. We had so much fun the girls laughed, painted, decorated cookies, and then even had to feed me a bite of the cookie because they were pretending to be the momma. They took there cookies and put pink and green icing on them and then bright and pastel colored sprinkles after they came out of them oven. We made a big mess... but all messes can be cleaned. I acutally think if my sweep n vac could talk it might even say Lord have mercy do not give those girls sprinkles again. However we are already planning another day to bake and decorate we had so much fun :-)
Pictures to come!
