Get Ready... This is what has been happening:)

Guess who turned 4? Kennleigh did!! I can't hardly believe it my baby turned four Aug. 22.  We had a Down on the farm party this year it was so much fun.  We had her friends from school, church, and her family there to celebrate.  I was so amazed at how well the kids played in the bounce house together.  The parents had time for some fellowship time as well.  I did enjoy my self: )  This birthday party was much different than her other parties we had all of her request lots of kids, lots of balloons, big cake and tacos. I was so pleased at how everything flowed smoothly.  I took Monday to do my decorating.  Yes the whole week! I had to stays busy busy busy!!!! I was so thankful Kennleigh was able to start school, but she is was my first baby and this just seemed way to soon when reality set in.  She had a blast and well I cried for two weeks.  I was so use to her sitting up and doing little projects at night with me and she was so tired she was sound asleep by 8:00, and I cried.  She loved school and did not care that  I left her and so I cried and Cried a whole lot more.  I am so happy that kennleigh loved school though it really was a answer to my prayer.  Kennleigh has really learned so much already this year at school.  She has  really awesome teachers, great friends, and a wonderul enviornment.  I love when I drive up and walk kennleigh to class that everyone is so friendly it is like one big happy family.  Kennleigh comes home everyday telling me all sorts of things she has learned.  She wants me to teach her how to write and then she teaches me to count and how to do the pledge.  It is precious to hear her sing her songs and do the pledge.  I wish I could have recorded but she was to quick and I just listened, but her is how the pledge went after the first week of school.

Mom, do you know the pledge of alliegence? I don't think so Kenn can you teach me? Yes mom I can Mrs. Scott said put your hands on your heart and stand up.  She said stand up mom and put your hands on your heart so of course I did.  She said good job mom you know where your heart is! I said o does some not know where there heart is ? Well yes we all know where our heart is but some kids are on the right and some on the left, but mine is on the left-- I am relieved lol-- now repeat after me

I Pledge of Alliegence to the flag
of the united state of america
and to the public ( republic) for (which) it stands
one nation  under ( very loudly)- GOD and indibisiible and jusitce for a few(all)..

Too cute i could not laugh she did loudly say under GOD she nows the foundation and this was awesome.   She now gets the wording right and still does and awesome job:)

I just love the fact that I have to act as if I know nothing for her to tell me what she knows.  SHe is counting, doing her days of the week, months of the year, writing her name, and tracing other letters, they are learning their colors and shapes, and she reads to her babies every night.  The funny part is she had Tissy and Jonthan sit on moms rug while she reads and dares them to move ... and they listen lol!!!!

We did have a minor accident with our glasses and had to get a new pair, but kennleigh was okay with that because they are like Matti and Allie's.  Uncle Zack did accidently step on them after they slid off the console in the Dodge:-/

She is still doing her rodeo events onec and month and doing a great job.  She did win a lead rope last month and was so excited.  Bailey has been a true inspiration for Kenn and is helping her so much.  Kennleigh Really looks up to Bay like an older sister.  SHe is really playing and important part in Kennleigh's life :) thanks Bailey for all you do!

Kennleigh, Lexie, and Breanna sang in church with uncle allen.  They did a wonderful job singing I'll Fly Away and This little Light of mine. It blesses my heat to see them so interested in worshipping the Lord.  You must raise Children the way we want them to go.  Again, thanks uncle Allen for taking up time with our kids they will never forget the time you invested and it doesn't go unnoticed.

We have had a spend the night party lately and Breanna and Kennleigh had a blast watching movies, painting toes, playing with sidewalk chalk, and eating popcorn.  The girls play so well together, and they love helping Blakeleigh.  They are too sweet and just love being able to get together and play every chance they get.  They had a play date at Nana's and they had a wonderful time with lunch on the picnic table outside and time on the swing set.  Thanks Nana for helping the girls have a fun play day.  I have heard so much about this.

Jonathan is Potty trained... YAY!!! you go boy aunt Leigh is super proud of you!!! YOu are one special little boy who stole my heart 2 years ago:) your like my oldest little boy, and thats okay momma said we can share each others babies!!!!! love you

Let the Fun begin...

Last week we took a mini vacation down to orange beach.  We went and did some fun, yet educational things this time.  We took the kids to the petting Zoo in Gulf shores, and Blakeleigh got her first snow cone!! They got to pet the animals, and they even got to touch a baby alligator.  O my and because the kids touched him guess who else had to...... Me and SHane... NASTY is all I have to say.  They got to watch the animal show, and then ended our trip to the zoo with a walk throught the goat and turtle pins.  It was so interesting to see all the information posted about each animal, and to see how many questions Kennleigh could ask her daddy about the alligator, goat, deer, and the tigers.  SO after we left here we wernt to Alligator Alley in Summerdale, and again they got to hold and feed the gators.  We got to watch the gator's be fed raw hog meat and some of the tricks that the different ones of them could do.  The gator sizes ranged from lizzard size to 2,000 pounds.  It was nothing shy of amazing to see the aging process and the sound they make when the food is thrown at them, and last but not least they actually fought each other for food.  We took a walk in the swamp and got to feed the gators from a bridge.  So the next day we had water day fun, and met up with Lexie, Breanna, and Uncle David for a day at waterville.  O you can't begin to describe the fun that we all had from riding the waves in the wave pool ( yes kennleigh and Blakeleigh had so much fun with thiis) to going down the slides and relaxing in the lazy river.  Blakeleigh would stand on my legs and wave at people like she was Miss America while we floated down the lazy river, and she would giggle the loudest when the waves swept us away in the wave pool, and not to mention how mad she got if she had to wait in lines at the kids slides.  I think it is safe to safe Tissywas a true water bug.  Kennleigh, Breanna, and Lexie preferred uncle shane in the lazy river who would let them zoom by everyone all on the same float while he pushed them along.  David, SHane and the rest of us all enjoyed the relaxing time in the wave pool before the waves started, and the kids would just run and swim just like they did at the beach.  It was so fun this year to get to be apart of such a wonderful family vacation.  We went to the park and played on the slides and swings and the girls really enjoyed this.  We went to get kennleigh a tye down shirt ( tye dyed like bailey) from the souvenior shop just to cool off.  Also we rode down to Perdido Keys sight seeing while the girls napped and it was such a pretty place.  We did take the kids by the bay to see the boats.  We had a great family vacation this year, and can't wait until our next outing:)

Just a thought..

You know somedays bloggers just get these toughts of o my that has to be something to blog about..  Okay so here it goes.  I usually only write about happenings in our life, but a they say it is my blog so here it goes....

WARNING: I AM NOT WRITING THIS TO OFFEND ANYONE! SO MY MOTTO IS IF IT STEPS ON YOUR TOES THEN THAT IS FOR THE INDIVIDUAL TO DECIDE IF THEY WANT TO TAKE IT TO HEART:)

I shared on facebook today about the cashier at hobby lobby not to mention her store manager:) O MY!! Can you not count sister? DID YOU REALLY NOT KNOW THAT THAT $9.90 IS LESS THAN $10.00?  Okay so maybe she had a rough day but day even after trying to explain to the sweet little girl... I mean she still did not get it:( SO GLAD THIS WAS MAMA'S TO DEAL WITH BECAUSE I JUST DON'T KNOW THAT I COULD HAVE KEPT A STRAIGHT FACE.

To the Walmart Cashier in Greenville... NOTE this is no one I know PERSONALLY:)  when your aisle says 20 items are less and I have ten.  BOOM I can hop in your lane.. Especially if 5 of them belong to my sister who is paying with her own money:) If you are going to assist people put a smile on that sweet face after all you are alive and act like you are proud to be here!! Again I did nothing to you so you did not have to smart off at me, and like if that was not enough to snap at my sweet little quiet sister..  I mean really to pop an attidude with Ashley like I just don't get it.. Way to come back at her ash is a nice way..  Well I can See someone hasn't had a pleasant day maybe it will get better:) yep Ashley said that to the cashier!!!! WOW just WOW!!

More should be like the sweet little lady at CATO's on Ann Steet.  O she was so nice as Mom shopped for some outfits.  I think she got a few laughs, but I am so glad GOd Blessed me with that little bit of humor from my dad:) SHe was so trying to sell that orange dress:) orange is not my color hun!! Thanks for the compliment though it did make me feel good while you where rolling on the floor laughing at my comment:)

Technology....... Have we gone a bit far?

Okay really everything can be uploaded on such small devices now.  However if you find yourself spending more time with your phone than your spouse ... PUT IT DOWN.... If go somewhere and they have to ask you ma'am could you lay your phone here while i cut your phone that would be much easier??? REALLY!!! okay and if you go to the Funeral home, WEDDING, SHOWERS-- chances are you don't need the phone-- just saying..

Okay so many may disagree about this next statement and again this is how I feel!  I enjoy the app on my phone for the BIBLE.  I like to have it so in between classes I can look up things, or if someone ask a biblical question it is right at my finger tips.  However I feel that there is nothing that takes the place of the BIBLE itself.  WHen I go to church I love hearing the pages turn after the preacher tells what scripture is fixing to be read.  I just really think this awesome to use the Bible I haave used all of my life at church.  For one, I think having your phone in church could be a slight distraction, and it could make some wanna read facebook and catch the latest news, or check the weather.  I know some are more dedicated and can just use the bible app to only look up the scriptures that the preacher calls, but I would so read ahead.  I guess i am so use to doing more than one thing at a time that I can multi task i would be blogging, facebooking, reading the bible APP or listening to the preacher.  Whew my mind would be in 1000 different areas so for me I will stick with my Bible:)

Kids

I feel that God has blessed me with my kids and it is my duty to raise them up.  I take them to church and ask anyone there they don't run around.  I can't handle it they get like maybe two warnings and after that woe be unto them.  I have heard parents say we did not do _____________________ cuz the kids did not feel like comming.  REally so the kids run your house.  NO you are the parent so you run it if they don't feel like going to church, town, etc you are the momma and Daddy.  Tell them I am sorry you feel that way, but we will be going to ____________________ and if you act up I will get my switch:) i see this all the time in the dr. office, walmart, the grocery story, and well any where else i have ever been.  Am i a perfect parent by no means, but I am willing to take any suggestions and try as well.  so I must share this story.  The other day Shane and I took the girls to Birmingham for Blakeleigh's dr. appointment.  There was a little boy in there and his mom had told him a million times son don't jump off the play house or i am gone spank you.  Ok mom! bang, yep that was the little boy again jumping off the playhouse so i was like o he is gone get it.. NOPE not a word she said i just don't see how you are doing that I thought your leg was broke.  I wanted to say o well you might save a CO Pay if you taking home now.  LOL funny thing is after he kept jumping off the play house and the warning from mom about the spankings that never happened, My CHild ( kennleigh) loudly states, :" Boy you better be glad my momma aint ya mama cuz you would have done got it son"  O my! Well at least she learned early, and she is not mistreated just made mind:)

A little bit of Heaven on Earth

Granny and Paw Paw rented a water slide Saturday to kick off the summer.  They waited until Kenn got a release from the doctor which I thought was very nice, and all of us had a blast.  We played outside Friday night from 9:30 to 11:30 and then Saturday morning from 8 until 6.  O my that 103 degree weather I did not feel until Sunday.  Today I am still feeling it but its quit alright.  THere is absolutely nothing like family time.  We made sandwiches and Ice cream and just played all day.  The kids of all ages had a blast from Blakeleigh all the way to the oldest one there :) THese moments are priceless and I took so many pictures to have them years from now.  SO many memories made in one day from flying off the side of the slide (Leigh and Aunt Diane) when the boys jumped down and bounced us right off on the dirt to the slideing down with our babies and making sure they were having a blast.  I think we all decided this is a must do again but definitly with sunclock.

we are growing:)

Blakeleigh is 18 months already can you believe it?

Gosh where does the time go just 18 months ago today Blakeleigh was getting ready to make her arrival at exactly 4:58 P.M.  I will never forgot it Kennleigh was itching to see that baby that had been in momma's belly for a long time.  Amazingly enough Dr. duggar went and got kenn and  she was the first one to hold Blakeleigh. Yep thats right not even I got her first. Thats okay though. Kennleigh and Blakeleigh have such a special little bond.  Kennleigh thinks the world is suppose to revolve and sit around blakeleigh.  Kennleigh said she has to be happy, and did i mention she don't want me getting onto her for anything. Kennleigh Prays for Blakeleigh everyday and God has done a mighty work in blakeleigh's life. We went back to the Doctor the other day and they are pleased with her progress and want us to continue to exercise and get more and more sunlight each day.  We will do as they say and see them in six months:)

In the meantime Blakeleigh is doing the following:

She is talking

Walking

giggling

eating so healthy

and learning so man new tricks

she enjoys climbing now too

Oops did i mention she loves taking kennleigh's toys away

She will run from us when we try to get her dressed in the morning

She loooooveeeeesss the slide and swings outside

She loves her trips to Nat and TOps  ( tat and tops)

She likes when we go for our family evening golf cart rides:)

Her hari is now long enough for a tiny tiny pony tail:)

SHe finally weighs 23 pounds-- she does feel much heavier but nope only 23 pounds

Dr. Brannon said she is normal on ther weight and above average on her length

SHe is saying these new words, Nat (Tat) tops, BLock, Nan ( nannie) Nenn( kenn), Gran, paw, papa, Ack (zack), go, na, yum, eat, cup, and well there are too many more to list these are just a few cute ones:)

She is excited about getting Bella in the family too as we all are they play so good together.  Jonathan looks after both of the girls:)  I think blakeleigh will always bee jonathans Tissy:)

My Hero.. My Dad

To some I am sure my dad is an ordinary man, but to me he is my hero.  My daddy taught me many values in life such as working, spending time with family, and the most important was to put God first in everything I do.  I often thougt it was so wrong to have to go work at the chicken houses because after all I was girl and it sometimes did not leave us smelling very pleasant.  However, we learned quickly there is no smell that pert plus can't cure!!! He always made sure his family had what they needed as well as our wants.  He taught me to put others first and everything else would fall into place.  It has been important to him and the rest of my family for me to finish school.  I am doing my very best to achieve this goal. I set the goal many years ago to become a teacher, and with God's helpp I will Succeed.  Sure anyone feeling froggy go ahead and laugh about it taking so long to finis h college.  Indeed it has taking a long time, but God does have a reason for everything.  I have met some pretty amazing people along the way.  Daddy and me have had a long time joke about making a creer of college.  I continue to joke with him and say I am scared if I finish I will have to go back to work at the chicken house.  I have also learned from Dad it doesn't pay to make fun it can come back to get us, but in this case we would not know how to act if we could not pick at each other.   Dad and myself will joke with you knowing that very soon I will be done!  I also learned from dad to never worry what one thinks of you because you will most likely disappoint few.  Simply some peoples happiness thrive off of making fun of others.  IN daddy's words, people have a mighty good topic when talking about him.  I have to agree!  LOL:)  The grandkids think that Topses is pretty amazing too.  Guess there must be something about a tractor, love and attention!

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you Dad for sending me to school, working so hard and teaching us how, Showing us love no matter what, and also for teaching me to live for what is right no matter what others say:)  I love you more than you will every know.  For me you play more roles than a daddy.  Growing up you were the best doctor when I had a bad headache, you did take the spanking for me once (I don't think anyone else would have done that), You were our leader in ourhome with mom right beside you, You always made sure there was gas in my car to go to school, Now you are one of the best babysitter and a "boss" to kennleigh- she is learning so much!!!  Truly today I can say I am Drinking from my Saucer because my Cup has over flowed with so many blessings.  Mom and you are definetly a blessing to our family. Thanks again for loving us and taking time out of your busy schedule to suppot your grandbabies as well as your children.

What some thought was impossible

It was when Blakeleigh turned one that we recieved some slighly disturbing news.  Dr. Brannon saw that there were problems with the muscle tone in her legs.  She also suggested we go to Birmingham and see a specialist.  We did and as I told before they decided to give Blakeleigh sometime.  After much prayer it was apparent some strength had built up in her legs because she was able to stand on them for a short period of time.  At 14 months I shared Blakeleigh is walking.  Now at fifteen months she is running and loves for Jonathan to chase her with the push toys.  It is hilarous and sweet, if she falls he stops and helps her up so they can go again.  I absoultely love watching him and Kennleigh take care of Tissy.  Also Blakeleigh has had a few digestive problems.  However, God has his hand on my sweet girls.  He has touched BOTH of my girls and healed them many times.  We took Blakeleigh to the Doctor to see a gastrologist as well- as directed by her pediatrician.  They thought it was not a big deal and they tried to fix her with medicine, they were unsuccessful.  All of the symptoms pointed to a serious illeness known as hirshprungs( may spelling may be off lol). I began to pray along with the elders at church as instructed to do in James.  In fact, Nannie, Papa, Mom, Dad, Ashley, Zack, Shane, Myself, Kennleigh and Jonathan met the night before the test and prayed that God would come on the scene and work a miracle on Blakeleigh's behalf.   The test came back negative.  Praise the Lord!! we were instructed to be in the GI Doctors office at 9:00 on Monday.  Needless to say we were there, her reply to me was I just don't understand I really felt that this test would have lined up with thoughts and confirm my diagnois, but it didn't so I really don't know what to tell you Mrs. Leigh.  Really did she just say this I look at shane and he looks back at me and immediatly I say I believe God healed her.  SHe gave me  deep stare yep the one like lady you are in sane,. Ok so that I may be, but I am living proof that this sweet baby is up for no surgeries, she is taking NO MEDICINE AT ALL!!! That is enough for me to realize that whether Blakeleigh had a major or minor illness God moved.  He MOved for us and he can move for you.  It is amazing when people obey God what can be done.  I am sure that more than one of you reading this looked at me like I was crazy for having the white trimmed with blue squares from a hanky pinned to Blakeleigh's clothes.  Maybe this went through somes head.  O my what in the world? Really has she lost her mind it doesn't match?  That is a cute outfit to have a rag pinned on it? I am sure there are questions that I missed.  I have been ridiculed before to my face, behind my back, and well you just name it and I have probably dealt with it at some form.  I decided years ago though I am going through with Jesus no matter what men may say.  The cloth on Blakeleigh's back was given to us by some inspirational people in my life.  Aunt Lynn and Uncle Michael God used aunt Lynn this particular night at church and the church body obeyed and anoited this cloth for Blakeleigh and she is wearing it.  You may say it is not in the cloth and your right it was God s power that Reigned down that very night and it is a symbol that the devil has lost this battle.  I thank God for this trial I was faced with for it has made me stronger.  I know that GOd has a reason for this trial and I thank him for making this trial and blessing.   My Family has gone through a lot and yes my child has been in a doctors office many times, but they haven't gone through what other kids will go through or have gone through. If one thing I have learned it is never to question or talk about someone else for you don't know what they are going through:-)

Again I would like to thank each of you who has prayed, called, sent cards, and even cooked supper. Some of these may have seemed minor, bu they truly meant alot to me.  WHen I was having a tough day the card in the mail that had my name on it as kennleigh would say and the kind words on the inside meant so much more than I could ever tell you:-)  Thanks again for all of your prayers.  I felt that you would enjoy the update and we could see once again that PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!!!

Quality time with one at a time:-)

I enjoy both of our girls.  I enjoy even more when I can take a few hours out of a day and devote all of my attention to either Blakeleigh or Kennleigh.  So Monday Me and Kennleigh had our time to go to the doctor, run grab some chick- fil- a for lunch, and run in Target to grab some of her medicine.  She ask me if we could do something fun.  I thought for a minute and that was all it took- SURE. I would love too.  We went out to the mall and went in Build a Bear for our first time ever.  We had walked by, but I had heard all sorts of things.  I decided okay, lets see what this is about we went in and Kennleigh picked out her bear.  It was precious she held on tight like I was gonna take it away  The lady told Kennleigh to pick a heart any heart and she did.  She helped give her bear a start with that little red heart ( Precious).  She then got to press the (Gas) Pedal as she called it to release the stuffing in her bear.  Then over for her bath where again she got to press the pedals.  She named her bear Bailey.  Really Kenn Bailey why would you give her a real name like Bailey? Momma, Bailey Ann is special and I love that girl.  She helps me ride horses, and spends time with me.  I just B. R. O.D. her.  Okay, I had to ask what is B.R.O.D..  she said it means she is my friend and I just love her.  So I am so happy that Bailey has influenced Kennleigh in such a positive way.  This day reminded me so much of watching what we do and say because little eyes and ears are always watching :-)  Kennleigh Momma did enjoy our special day!!!

Bailey,
Thank you for all you do.  I know you do put lots of time and energy into helping Kennleigih with the horses and she so glad you do. However, I can not even began to say thank you enough for taking your time to help Kennleigh into becoming a great cowgirl like you!!!! I love you and again thanks for all you do. When you even think someone may not care about you ----- Kennleigh eats, lives, and sleeps and talks about you all the time.. She adores the grounds you walk on!!! Thanks again Stank and Happy Birthday

Catchin up:-)

It had been a while so let me catch up.

Blake is one.. Can you believe it? I know this year has just flown by.  I can't believe that just last year on Feb. 5 We brought our sweet baby girl home, but although we were so excited we lost  a very special person the very Day we came home.  Grandma had been down for quit some time and on Feb. 5 around 10:00 a.m.  God called her home to be with him. Gosh, as a young child I remember sitting and rocking with her and listening to her sing sweet sweet tunes, she sure did one thing and that was teach us how to pray.  I remember her telling how she prayed for a blind cat and God healed the cat and restored all sight.. Is that not amazing it just takes faith and we are capable of the same things.  Amazing how God has brought this to my mind.  Well back to Blakeleigh for a moment:) We went for Blakeleigh's one year check up and Dr. Brannon there was a problem. A Problem? I have noticed any she was just perfect in my eyes, although not as quick as Kennleigh to walk, that was ok becasue they were two very unique little angels that God has placed in my care.  I am so proud of these two little angels words just can't describe my excitement for them calling me mama.  Dr. Brannon said that there was something wrong with Blakeleigh's Legs she was unsure if it be bone or muscle but she was definetly positive something was not right.. So what did I do, YOU GUESSED IT CRIED, AND CRIED SOME MORE. Dr. Brannon even had water in her eyes.   Kennleigh my sweet little girl threw her arms around me and said its okay Mama, God has you in his hands.  He will take care of you. Please don't cry..  Okay Okay, My three year old is stronger than me.. I was like ok Leigh, put your big girl panties on we can do this with God leading and Kennleigh helping me with her laughter and jokes.  We went to our appointment in Birmingham they agreed no braces for now, but come back in June.  I am here to tell you today tht Tissy is on the move.. Praise the Lord for his marvelous work.

My first Birthday Party
We had such a fun filled weekend for Blakeleigh's birthday.  We went with the cousins to burger king on Thursday night, and then on Friday just a fun day playing around the house.  THe big day was Saturday we had her party at 5:00 P.M. and served Chicken, sugar free cake, birthday cake, fruit, fruit dip,and chips.  We had a great time at her party with all of her family and friends.  Again I say thank you to the ones who cam to Blakeleigh's Birthday.  After her party we left and went and took Blakeleigh and Kennleigh to the Rodeo to watch Bailey.  The girls love to watch Bailey bug compete:-)

March

The first weekend in March we signed Kennleigh up for her very first Horseshow. Thanks to Bailey, Aunt Stacey, and Uncle Junior they have got Kennleigh Back in the saddle.  After a fall the week after Blakeleigh was born Kennleigh fell off of spook and broke her arm.  It was pitiful, but she handled it well!  Now I am proud to say she has not let fear get her down. She climbed on Chief and her and Bailey ran Barrels, Poless, and Arena Race.  They got first place on the arena race:) This made me so happy to see the smiles on the Kennleigh's face.  Kennleigh is still practicing hard and she will be competing again this weekend..

Last weekend we colored Easter Eggs with Lexie and Breanna all the children had a blast.  They learned that if you mix colors it makes unique colors.  They could not get over how the warm water was changing colors.  They played extremly hard and had a great time dying eggs.

Phenix/ Georgia Trip
I am taking a class at phenix city and me and shane had to leave the girls with mom and mrs. Cathy for the weekend.  We got back Sunday afternoon, but it was a challenge being away from my girls that long.  I enjoy watching them grow and play everyday, and you don't realize how much you miss the late night talks, the bed time stories, watching second chances 1,000 times with Kennleigh.  It was a great weekend of learning though and it did give me and shane a few minutes to sit and eat dinner together without having to talk over the kids.  I love and enjoy the girls and it is great for parents to be able to spend time as well.  This was a great weekend for us to spend quality time. We even went over to Georgia and did some sight seeing and it was just a nice getaway.

I have enjoyed the last couple of days that Jonathan has come home to play until his mom Got off work.  I could just eat him up he is so adorable.  I know I may be his only aunt, but I hav to be the favorite!! Right? O yea sure he loves to come play on the cars and play with the blocks with Tissy.  He has nicknamed Blakeleigh (Tissy) I think it is so sweet.. I love when he comes to the house and grabs a book and says read EEE read.  Love it its priceless:) I may not have a little boy of my own but I have told Ash and She agree we must love each others babies like there ours.. It works perfect..  I have so many babies not bilogical only two of those but I love all of my neices and nephews as if they were my very own.  Aunt Leigh loves you Jon JOn, Lex, and Bre, :)

Happy Birthday Blakeleigh:)

It is so hard to believe that my blakeleigh is 1.  We have had a great year.  Blakeleigh has truly been a little angel to us she and Kennleigh are best friends.  Just ask, and Kennleigh will tell you if anybody messes with Blake blake she will take care of them.  You never know what they will say.  Blakeleigh is talking she is saying DaDa, MaMa, Sis, Nana, Tat, Zack, Bye Bye, and Pa Pa.  She brings so many smiles to me each day.  I got up this morning and she says mama with a big smile.  I could just sit and rock that sweet baby all day:)  I am so thankful that GOd healed her from her milk allergy and now she is enjoying all the good stuff such as: chocolate milk at bed time and Ice cream for a snack.  She loves to eat and is wild about her fruit, veggies, and chicken.  SHe has a favorite- nana's peas.  SHe absolutely loves them.  She is sleeping all night still and loves walking with her push toy.  SHe has been such a ball of joy. I guess what they say is true.  TIME FLYS WHEN YOUR HAVING FUN.  We sure have had blast with Blakeleigh for the past year and with Kennleigh for the Past 3 1/2 years.  SO one thing I want to says is Thank GOd for Kids:) I love you both

Girls night out 2 the cattlemens meeting:)

Mom, Ashley, and myself were able to escape for a night out on the town.  We enjoyed ourselves if  I must say so myself.  It was certainly nice to be able to ride to andalusia and be able to carry on conversation, and just catch up on a few things.  We went in Jcpenny's to see if any sales on kids clothes and then to walmart to pick up a few essentials, and then we went and ate Pizza.  Pizza is not something we eat alot it is sort of a treat for us being or children like it but at there ages don't handle it as good as Mcdonald chicken nuggets.  We did have a great time getting together for several hours.  It also allowed the men to spend time with the babies and do a few fun things around the house.  Thanks again guys for allowing us this opportunity we really enjoyed it :) O, and Mom and Ashley --- can't wait til next month!

The cattlemens meeting was a fun time for the farmers in the family and their wives.  Zack, I can't believe you bailed on us!  Hey its all good we had a great time.  Anytime we take a car trip with daddy its a hoot- you know he don't get out much unless he rides the Kabota.  So even a trip to the store is hilarous and we all enjoy his laughter and his Comedy.  I guess he don't see many people with road rage so let him spot that on the interstate and you will laught until you cry it is just down right funny.  O most of the stuff that we laugh about is stuff no one else would even understand, however, it is things we will never forget.  Just like him failing to mention they were having a cake auction so me and mom go in with no cake... He is still in the woods about that.  Its okay though, if I learned one thing this very night its make the best of every situation.  A cattlemens meeting may not be where you would like to spend your Friday night by why blow up about it.  It may be the last time you get to do something with your family.  None of us are guarnteed tomorrow so we have to make the best of today.  I feel it is very important to cease the moments.  After we got there we did run in to so many familar faces I want even began to name them becasue I will surely miss someone:) Thanks again to my sisters and brothers who kept our children so we could attend he yearly meeting and it gave me an opportunity to take daddy on a road trip ...lol
By the way daddy bought a cake to help out with the scholorship program and O my it was divine .  I thought about those divine appointments uncle allen preaches about I bet anyone at that table that ate a peace would tell you it was sure good.  I have honestly never ate a piece of cake that tasted like that . YUM

A roping we will go....

So last night after church Aunt stacey invited Kennleigh to go ride horses while I went to hear Zack preach.  I agreed that I would pick her up after church and then away the went.  I got back to pick Kennleigh bug up and she did not want to go home?? nothing unusual when Aunt Stacey and Uncle Junior are letting her ride around the poles and barrells.  Kennleigh loves uncle Junior.  She has come a long way since she broke her arm she if finally riding all by her self again.  Bailey's job is to either walk infront of the horse or run along beside her.  Too funny, and  I am certain Bailey is ready for this fear to leave Kenn- Kenn.  Well, Kennleigh jumped in the truck last night and told me that she was going to be in a rodeo.  I said do what? SHe said Mama you better get your chair ready becasue me and my uncle Junior is going to be in a rodeo the first weekend in March on Saturday.  I agree that it is fine with me that she participate in the horseshow and she has called everybody to let them know.  It is so sweet to see those big blue eyes light up out of excitement.

Seek with a Whole heart

I can't help but look back over the past week and see God's hands in every step that I have made.  I am just amazed daily at how He cares so much about even the smallest detail of our life.  I have had several things come against me and I have decided that I will Praise GOd through the Good and Bad.  However that is what we are instructed to do in the book of James.  I have had several opportunites to go and share God's word through song this past few weeks and I am just in awe at how God will use us, but we must be willing.  I have decided that me and my family are making God the very top priorty in our house over everything else.  After all, nothing else matters but our Lord and Savior.  I realize that He guides each step I take.  I stand on the verse Jermiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."  This verse simply tells me that God knows each step and thought and he has no plan of harm toward us but only good.  I also love the verse in Jerm. 29: 13 it states, " And ye shall seek me, and find me,when you search for me with all your heart."  Also we must remember there is a very important meaning in this verse IF WE SEEK= WE FIND; IF WE SEARCH WITH OUR WHOLE HEART.  We sometimes want to complain about what God hasn't done for us, but we must ask ourselves have we done our part?  Did we seek with our whole heart?  This is just what God laid on my heart this morning and I thought I would share.  Have a blessed day:)

Remeber when....

I was thinking back over our childhood and could not help but laugh..

Remember when Ashley and I rode the golf cart and I thought Aunt Mame's popped belly pig was a bear.

Remember when I got my learning my permit and almost took out the pedestrians on the sidewalk in evergreen.

O and Remember when Robert looked like he was going to throw dirt?

Yes and when Casey and I fed robert dirt pie out of Nannie's cool whip bowl?

Then Karrissa and Zack washed nannie's car with a muddy rag.

When Julie and myself cut her hair during VBS.  O how aunt debbie cried.

O and when I sang I'm a survivor while going 60mph through a large mud puddle at age 15.

Dad would say O my Lord please plant my feet on solid ground.

Remember Zack when the State Trooper pulled us over for no reason.  Still laughing about this one..

I loved how Papa would cut roads with the bush hog so we had somewhere to ride the golf cart- was it attractive looking- NO- Was it FUN? Yes

I remember staying at Nannies for a girls sleep over and when all us girl ran to the sewing room the trundle daybed hit the floor and her came Nannie- we were not in trouble though even though it was like 1:00A.M.

I remember all the Friday night I spent the night at Granny's and had marshmallow eating contest with uncle buck.

I remember playing aggrivation at granny's all the time unitl like 10 and 11 at night.

I remember it was never a question whether we would be in attendance at church on Sunday, Sunday night and Wednesday night

I Can't believe my eyes....

Wow it is so hard to believe that Blakeleigh has just turned 11 months.  It seems like just yesterday I brought that little angel home.  Now we sleep through the entire night.. O wait what am i thinking this little thing has slept all night since she was one day old...  Thanks you Lord for sleeping angels.  Blakeleigh is now saying several words such as: Zack, Bop, huh, squils about everything, bye bye, mama, da da and hey.  She is pulling up really good and she is walking behind her push toys.  She has really made lots of improvements and growing like a weed. Did I mention she loves loves loves chicken nuggets and a sippy cup.  She will fight for a chicken nugget ask Kennleigh.  I am so blessed.  When I look past over the last 11 months I realized all the changes that were made this year and how God has been so gracious to us by blessing us with this addition.
