Girls night out 2 the cattlemens meeting:)

Mom, Ashley, and myself were able to escape for a night out on the town.  We enjoyed ourselves if  I must say so myself.  It was certainly nice to be able to ride to andalusia and be able to carry on conversation, and just catch up on a few things.  We went in Jcpenny's to see if any sales on kids clothes and then to walmart to pick up a few essentials, and then we went and ate Pizza.  Pizza is not something we eat alot it is sort of a treat for us being or children like it but at there ages don't handle it as good as Mcdonald chicken nuggets.  We did have a great time getting together for several hours.  It also allowed the men to spend time with the babies and do a few fun things around the house.  Thanks again guys for allowing us this opportunity we really enjoyed it :) O, and Mom and Ashley --- can't wait til next month!

The cattlemens meeting was a fun time for the farmers in the family and their wives.  Zack, I can't believe you bailed on us!  Hey its all good we had a great time.  Anytime we take a car trip with daddy its a hoot- you know he don't get out much unless he rides the Kabota.  So even a trip to the store is hilarous and we all enjoy his laughter and his Comedy.  I guess he don't see many people with road rage so let him spot that on the interstate and you will laught until you cry it is just down right funny.  O most of the stuff that we laugh about is stuff no one else would even understand, however, it is things we will never forget.  Just like him failing to mention they were having a cake auction so me and mom go in with no cake... He is still in the woods about that.  Its okay though, if I learned one thing this very night its make the best of every situation.  A cattlemens meeting may not be where you would like to spend your Friday night by why blow up about it.  It may be the last time you get to do something with your family.  None of us are guarnteed tomorrow so we have to make the best of today.  I feel it is very important to cease the moments.  After we got there we did run in to so many familar faces I want even began to name them becasue I will surely miss someone:) Thanks again to my sisters and brothers who kept our children so we could attend he yearly meeting and it gave me an opportunity to take daddy on a road trip ...lol
By the way daddy bought a cake to help out with the scholorship program and O my it was divine .  I thought about those divine appointments uncle allen preaches about I bet anyone at that table that ate a peace would tell you it was sure good.  I have honestly never ate a piece of cake that tasted like that . YUM

A roping we will go....

So last night after church Aunt stacey invited Kennleigh to go ride horses while I went to hear Zack preach.  I agreed that I would pick her up after church and then away the went.  I got back to pick Kennleigh bug up and she did not want to go home?? nothing unusual when Aunt Stacey and Uncle Junior are letting her ride around the poles and barrells.  Kennleigh loves uncle Junior.  She has come a long way since she broke her arm she if finally riding all by her self again.  Bailey's job is to either walk infront of the horse or run along beside her.  Too funny, and  I am certain Bailey is ready for this fear to leave Kenn- Kenn.  Well, Kennleigh jumped in the truck last night and told me that she was going to be in a rodeo.  I said do what? SHe said Mama you better get your chair ready becasue me and my uncle Junior is going to be in a rodeo the first weekend in March on Saturday.  I agree that it is fine with me that she participate in the horseshow and she has called everybody to let them know.  It is so sweet to see those big blue eyes light up out of excitement.

Seek with a Whole heart

I can't help but look back over the past week and see God's hands in every step that I have made.  I am just amazed daily at how He cares so much about even the smallest detail of our life.  I have had several things come against me and I have decided that I will Praise GOd through the Good and Bad.  However that is what we are instructed to do in the book of James.  I have had several opportunites to go and share God's word through song this past few weeks and I am just in awe at how God will use us, but we must be willing.  I have decided that me and my family are making God the very top priorty in our house over everything else.  After all, nothing else matters but our Lord and Savior.  I realize that He guides each step I take.  I stand on the verse Jermiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."  This verse simply tells me that God knows each step and thought and he has no plan of harm toward us but only good.  I also love the verse in Jerm. 29: 13 it states, " And ye shall seek me, and find me,when you search for me with all your heart."  Also we must remember there is a very important meaning in this verse IF WE SEEK= WE FIND; IF WE SEARCH WITH OUR WHOLE HEART.  We sometimes want to complain about what God hasn't done for us, but we must ask ourselves have we done our part?  Did we seek with our whole heart?  This is just what God laid on my heart this morning and I thought I would share.  Have a blessed day:)

Remeber when....

I was thinking back over our childhood and could not help but laugh..

Remember when Ashley and I rode the golf cart and I thought Aunt Mame's popped belly pig was a bear.

Remember when I got my learning my permit and almost took out the pedestrians on the sidewalk in evergreen.

O and Remember when Robert looked like he was going to throw dirt?

Yes and when Casey and I fed robert dirt pie out of Nannie's cool whip bowl?

Then Karrissa and Zack washed nannie's car with a muddy rag.

When Julie and myself cut her hair during VBS.  O how aunt debbie cried.

O and when I sang I'm a survivor while going 60mph through a large mud puddle at age 15.

Dad would say O my Lord please plant my feet on solid ground.

Remember Zack when the State Trooper pulled us over for no reason.  Still laughing about this one..

I loved how Papa would cut roads with the bush hog so we had somewhere to ride the golf cart- was it attractive looking- NO- Was it FUN? Yes

I remember staying at Nannies for a girls sleep over and when all us girl ran to the sewing room the trundle daybed hit the floor and her came Nannie- we were not in trouble though even though it was like 1:00A.M.

I remember all the Friday night I spent the night at Granny's and had marshmallow eating contest with uncle buck.

I remember playing aggrivation at granny's all the time unitl like 10 and 11 at night.

I remember it was never a question whether we would be in attendance at church on Sunday, Sunday night and Wednesday night

I Can't believe my eyes....

Wow it is so hard to believe that Blakeleigh has just turned 11 months.  It seems like just yesterday I brought that little angel home.  Now we sleep through the entire night.. O wait what am i thinking this little thing has slept all night since she was one day old...  Thanks you Lord for sleeping angels.  Blakeleigh is now saying several words such as: Zack, Bop, huh, squils about everything, bye bye, mama, da da and hey.  She is pulling up really good and she is walking behind her push toys.  She has really made lots of improvements and growing like a weed. Did I mention she loves loves loves chicken nuggets and a sippy cup.  She will fight for a chicken nugget ask Kennleigh.  I am so blessed.  When I look past over the last 11 months I realized all the changes that were made this year and how God has been so gracious to us by blessing us with this addition.
