My Hero.. My Dad

To some I am sure my dad is an ordinary man, but to me he is my hero.  My daddy taught me many values in life such as working, spending time with family, and the most important was to put God first in everything I do.  I often thougt it was so wrong to have to go work at the chicken houses because after all I was girl and it sometimes did not leave us smelling very pleasant.  However, we learned quickly there is no smell that pert plus can't cure!!! He always made sure his family had what they needed as well as our wants.  He taught me to put others first and everything else would fall into place.  It has been important to him and the rest of my family for me to finish school.  I am doing my very best to achieve this goal. I set the goal many years ago to become a teacher, and with God's helpp I will Succeed.  Sure anyone feeling froggy go ahead and laugh about it taking so long to finis h college.  Indeed it has taking a long time, but God does have a reason for everything.  I have met some pretty amazing people along the way.  Daddy and me have had a long time joke about making a creer of college.  I continue to joke with him and say I am scared if I finish I will have to go back to work at the chicken house.  I have also learned from Dad it doesn't pay to make fun it can come back to get us, but in this case we would not know how to act if we could not pick at each other.   Dad and myself will joke with you knowing that very soon I will be done!  I also learned from dad to never worry what one thinks of you because you will most likely disappoint few.  Simply some peoples happiness thrive off of making fun of others.  IN daddy's words, people have a mighty good topic when talking about him.  I have to agree!  LOL:)  The grandkids think that Topses is pretty amazing too.  Guess there must be something about a tractor, love and attention!

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you Dad for sending me to school, working so hard and teaching us how, Showing us love no matter what, and also for teaching me to live for what is right no matter what others say:)  I love you more than you will every know.  For me you play more roles than a daddy.  Growing up you were the best doctor when I had a bad headache, you did take the spanking for me once (I don't think anyone else would have done that), You were our leader in ourhome with mom right beside you, You always made sure there was gas in my car to go to school, Now you are one of the best babysitter and a "boss" to kennleigh- she is learning so much!!!  Truly today I can say I am Drinking from my Saucer because my Cup has over flowed with so many blessings.  Mom and you are definetly a blessing to our family. Thanks again for loving us and taking time out of your busy schedule to suppot your grandbabies as well as your children.
